Lanre is a semi-professional footballer who currently plays for Hastings United. He started playing for Ebbsfleet United in their youth league from the age of 16 to 18. On his 18th birthday, Lanre signed with Ebbsfleet United to play in the National League. While he played on the youth team, he also represented London County.
Since his signing with Ebbsfleet United, Lanre has played for a number of teams including Maidenhead United FC and Havant and Waterlooville FC. He played for many other clubs during that time, one of which was in Greece.
